The planning, designing and making of Inkerman’s bespoke trophies is made possible by our long term and close relationships with our skilled and dedicated workshops and their teams who create silver, metal, glass and sustainable material trophies for varied sporting events and awards. Working with our highly knowledgeable team of designers, master craftsmen and manufacturers ensures our clients vision becomes reality.
What it takes to custom make a trophy?
CONCEPT - Client brief, what is desired and the approval of budget.
DESIGN - Ensure it’s on brief and on brand – traditional sketch designs, digital designs or 3D modelling are created.
CREATION - Crafting of the bespoke piece takes approximately 6 – 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the design.
Replicas and Restoration
Year after year we are asked to make replicas of many original trophies and awards. Replica Trophies are usually made when a perpetual trophy has been won and needs to be returned the following year and the owner wants to keep a replica. Replicas may also be made for syndicate or group wins when each member wants to keep a trophy. Replicas can be made the same size or a smaller size than the original.
Each year we are asked by many clients to carry out repairs and polishing to their trophies and awards; our skilled crafstmen provide a full restoration service to ensure each trophy and award is restored to the highest standard in keeping with the original design. With over 20 years experience we understand the importance of maintaining the authenticity of design and quality of the original manufacture and always source the same high quality material used in the making of original trophy or award. These restoration services are available across all of our trophies and awards.
