The 2023 Randox Grand National - Inkerman is the official trophy supplier
As the official trophy supplier for the 17th year to Aintree Racecourse, Inkerman provide a series of trophies for owners, trainers, jockeys, and stable hands throughout the season, alongside looking after the series of perpetual trophies held by the course. Each year all of the perpetual trophies are engraved with winners details and any restoration work carried out. We are often asked to undertake commissions to make replica trophies of some of these perpetuals, particularly when there are large syndicates of owners it then enables each member to have a trophy to keep and makes for a great momento of the win. Many of these trophies are steeped in history and involve much detailing and it is often hard to tell the difference between the real thing and the replica. For each race the trophies are cleaned and prepped and taken to the winners enclosure in time for each race presentation. With 5 or 6 races each day and over 70 trophies to be presented the team are kept very busy, getting the right trophy to the right place at the right time!
The Randox Grand National Festival runs from thursday 13th - Saturday 15th April with the Grand National taking place on Saturday 15th April at 5.15pm almost all of the races will be televised and shown on ITV. For more information click the link for Aintree Racecourse
