Creating The Ladbrokes King George VI Steeple Chase

Challenged to create a truly bespoke modern trophy for the historic King George VI Steeple Chase. The design team drew up an impression of a stylised horses head through the use of three nickel plated precision cut aluminium layers, with polished and brushed finish. Fitted to a mirror polished reflecting plate and two tier acrylic plinth in the sponsors distinctive colours. Finished with the historic winners going back to 1967. Standing close to 40cms tall the trophy was first presented at the Boxing Day race at Kempton Park in 2019
