John Pearce Racing new Trophy and smaller Replica. We were asked to produce a new and modernised version of the original Hong Kong Jockey Club John Pearce Racing Trophy as well as a smaller Replica. We based the new Trophy design on the style of the original trophy but modernised the cup using clean lines without the hand chased decoration and the fleur de lys design. The main trophy was made in Sterling Silver and hallmarked with the British Assay mark and the Replica in a good quality silver plate. On both the main trophy and the replica a modern typeface was used for the engraving and the jockey colours on the finial were hand enamelled with the John Pearce Racing Colours. The Main trophy stands at approx. 15” with the silver banded plinth and the Replica at 8”. Both pieces were handmade and hand finished in our British workshops.
