A traditional English pewter pint tankard created by our mastercraftsmen and finished with a glass base. The glass bottomed tankard was developed as a way of avoiding conscription into the British Navy. If a shilling was placed in someone's tankard the drinker could see the coin, refuse the drink, thereby avoiding conscription.

We will provide artwork for your personalised gift which we will need to be approved. Please look out for our emails to make sure you receive the gift during the desired delivery time.

All our gifts come wrapped and ribboned in our sustainable Inkerman gift boxes, with a handwritten message if required.

Pewter Kensington Tumbler

Our highly polished Pewter Kensington Tumblers, standing at 7.5cm high, are very popular as everyday water or drinks glasses and are ideal for picnics and outside events. They are often bought in sets of 6 or 8 as a present from a group of friends or family members, each one engraved with an initial, image or name. Each tumbler is hand made by our Sheffield Pewterers and marked with our Inkerman Pewter Mark. They can be completely personalised with a large single engraved letter, initials & a date, a family crest or even an image to mark a birthday or special occasion.
