With February being one of the shortest months and the daylight hours drawing out we now begin to look forward to Spring. We are busy designing and making trophies for The Cheltenham Festival which is only 7 weeks away as well as working on a large corporate order for a client preparing branded gifts for their company anniversary.

The planning, designing and making of trophies, awards and medals is off to a great start as our clients begin preparations for annual awards and sporting events requiring trophies for new sponsors, engraving of existing perpetual trophies and commissioning of new awards and medals.

Replica Trophies Made Last Year

The Ladbrokes King George V1 Chase Trophy

Commissioned by the winners to make a full size replica and four three quarter size replicas of The Ladbrokes King George VI Chase trophy, a very modern design, made from polished & brushed nickel plated aluminium. The 3 pieces that make up the horses head are fitted to a highly polished reflecting plate which sits on top of a black and red acrylic base; red and black being the Ladbrokes colours. The plinth is engraved with the historic winners going back to 1937 which includes some of the greats like 3 time winner Wayward Lad, 4 time winner Desert Orchid, 5 time winner Kuato Star and more recently the two time winner Clan Des Obeaux.

The original is designed and made by Inkerman and presented each year at the King George meeting held on Boxing Day at Kempton Park Racecourse.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup

As part of being the official trophy supplier to Cheltenham Racecourse, we make several replicas and were delighted to be asked by the winning owners to make a replica of The Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup

This is made from Sterling Silver with a Gold Plated finish and is set on a wooden plinth.

Gold Cup Day 2024 will be an occasion no racing fan will want to miss. Plans are underway for a truly memorable meeting to celebrate 100 years of the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

This year the Gold Cup is on Friday 15th March 2024 and the Inkerman Team take up residence in the trophy room, above the winners enclosure to ensure that all the trophies are delivered and presented at the right time.

BPL Replica Trophy

The Bangladesh Premier League is organised by the BPL Governing Council. The BPL is one of the three Professional Cricket leagues in Bangladesh and is the 16th most attended premier league in the world.

We were commissioned to make a replica of the original trophy (albeit without the gold hand chasing) and this was made of silver plate and mounted on a wooden plinth finished with a coloured printed brass plate.
